Due to growth, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic Major Gifts Officer. This role will be instrumental in driving donor engagement, securing grants and sponsorships, and building sustainable funding pipelines that fuel the company mission and programs.
Major Gifts Officer Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundation partners to meet revenue goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors through consistent, personalized communication
- Create compelling donor impact reports and stewardship materials
- Attend donor meetings, networking events, and industry functions to grow visibility and funding pipelines.
- Research new funding opportunities, donor trends, and partnership alignments.
- Track and manage all outreach in CRM
Major Gifts Officer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Arts Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or donor relations.
- Strong writing and communication skills with proven success in grant writing and donor outreach
- Familiarity with donor CRM systems (e.g., DonorPerfect, Salesforce, Bloomerang)
- Passion for the arts, youth empowerment, and equity in education and career access
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
