LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing tech company. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Talent Development to lead initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation across the organization.
The Head of Talent Development will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing a robust talent development strategy aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall performance. This role will focus on designing programs that support the growth of our technical and non-technical teams, ensuring our people have the tools, training, and resources they need to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment. This position is based in Denver, CO.

Head of Talent Development Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent development strategy that aligns with company goals and enhances employee performance, engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to identify skill gaps and development needs
  • Create learning paths and career development programs tailored to both technical and non-technical employees
  • Design, implement, and manage training programs that promote continuous learning and professional growth across all levels
  • Develop training materials, eLearning modules, and workshops that address both technical competencies and soft skills.
  • Identify and cultivate future leaders within the organization, offering leadership development programs and coaching
  • Work with senior management to develop succession planning strategies and ensure key leadership roles are filled internally whenever possible
  • Partner with HR and management teams to ensure that performance management systems are aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Develop performance review processes that focus on development and growth, not just evaluation
  • Create initiatives that improve employee engagement and satisfaction through personal development opportunities
  • Lead efforts in change management by helping employees navigate organizational growth, transitions, or restructuring
  • Drive culture-building initiatives that promote innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the company

Head of Talent Development Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or HR business partnering within a fast-growing or tech-driven environment
  • Proven experience designing and implementing effective training, development, and leadership programs
  • Background in technology and understanding of the unique needs of tech teams is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, and other training tools
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for fostering a learning culture and developing talent at all levels
