Healthcare Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Manage a diverse group of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders with a strong focus on Operating Room procurement and supply chain strategy.
- Own the Contracts: Drive high-level negotiations, revisions, and sourcing strategies that impact patient outcomes.
- Outsource with Precision: Oversee third-party service relationships within clinical settings to optimize performance and cost.
- Command a $200M Spend: Take charge of a substantial annual indirect spend—your strategies will make a measurable impact.
Healthcare Procurement Manager Requirements:
- Operating Room Procurement Experience: This is not optional. You know the clinical, financial, and logistical nuances of sourcing for the OR.
- 5+ Years in Sourcing & Category Management: You've led sourcing strategies, not just followed them.
- Strong Healthcare Background: You understand the regulatory and operational demands of healthcare supply chains.
- Top-Tier Communication Skills: You can engage surgeons, suppliers, and supply chain staff with ease.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred: But experience and expertise are what matter most here.
