Import/Export Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international shipments by arranging, booking, and confirming space for ocean freight
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of documentation for inbound and outbound shipments
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to track shipments, resolve issues and maintain up-to-date records
- Provide support to both internal and external customers, offering shipment details and logistics solutions
- Utilize Cargo Wise or a similar system to manage and optimize shipping processes
- Assist in other logistics-related tasks as needed to support a fast-moving and collaborative environment
Import/Export Coordinator Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in ocean import/export logistics
- Strong understanding of freight operations and shipping procedures
- Familiarity with Cargo Wise or similar logistics software
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
