We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Instructional Designer with a strong background in ERP systems to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop engaging, effective training programs that support the adoption and use of systems and workflows across the organization. The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with a deep understanding of business operations, enabling them to create impactful learning experiences that drive user success and operational excellence.
This position requires the ability to work onsite on a hybrid basis in Greensboro, NC.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop instructional content, curricula, and learning experiences for adult learners in finance and supply chain areas
  • Create engaging and effective training materials including eLearning modules, instructor-led content, job aids, workflow diagrams, and documentation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to assess training needs and translate complex content into clear, user-friendly learning solutions
  • Deliver live and virtual training sessions to a variety of audiences
  • Evaluate and refine training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance outcomes
  • Support the implementation and adoption of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, EHR), including testing and user support
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to continually improve training programs and learner outcomes

Instructional Designer Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or Associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience in instructional design, training, or education
  • Background or experience in finance and/or supply chain, with understanding of workflows and operational processes
  • Demonstrated professional and/or academic success
  • Public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners
  • Strong analytical, research, and decision-making capabilities
  • Proficiency in using technology tools for training development, including diagramming, content creation, testing, and documentation software
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise instructional content
  • Experience delivering professional services requiring advanced knowledge in a technical or scientific discipline
  • Experience in adult education, curriculum design, and training delivery
  • Prior experience supporting, implementing, or training users on EHR, ERP, or other enterprise IT systems
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
  • Creative thinkers with an instructional mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and in team settings
  • Passionate about empowering learners and improving user performance
  • Able to adapt content and approach to suit diverse audiences and organizational needs
