IT Deployment Specialist Responsibilities:
- Assist in the enrollment of Chromebooks for K-12 institutions
- Work as a team to process thousands of devices
- Handle same-day laptop replacements as part of the depot support team, working alongside two highly skilled technicians
- Execute white glove services for Chromebook configuration, packaging, and shipping
- Support a large-scale 30,000-device refresh and break/fix project if awarded
- Assist with monitor and laptop setup, configuration, racking, and shipping
- Work in a structured rack-and-stack environment, ensuring proper device setup and deployment
- Follow detailed processes to configure and re-rack devices, repeating the cycle efficiently
IT Deployment Specialist Requirements:
- Technical background preferred (hardware experience, Chromebook support, help desk experience)
- Ability to follow structured deployment processes in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in device imaging, configuration, and shipping logistics is a plus
- Experience in large-scale IT rollouts, hardware refresh projects, or white glove IT services preferred
Comfortable working with a mix of technicians, help desk professionals, and IT support personnel.
