LaSalle Network is working with a local school to help them with IT Support for a 10 week project in Dallas, TX. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for imaging, updating, and maintaining computers and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance for end-users. You will be a key player in supporting our IT infrastructure by assisting with software installations, system updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.

IT Support Technician Responsibilities:
  • Create and deploy operating system images across a fleet of computers using standard imaging software
  • Perform routine updates and patches on computers, ensuring the latest software and security updates are applied
  • Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting and replacements, including computer peripherals (monitors, keyboards, etc.)
  • Install and configure software applications based on company needs and user requirements
  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and phone calls to provide technical assistance for users, troubleshooting issues related to system performance, software, and hardware
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining an inventory of computers, software licenses, and IT equipment
  • Maintain records of systems imaged, updated, and any hardware/software changes in the company’s asset management system
  • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure projects and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

IT Support Technician Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in IT-related field is a plus)
  • Familiarity with operating system imaging software (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Acronis, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and other operating systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic understanding of network configurations and IT security principles is a plus
  • Previous experience in IT support, computer maintenance, or a technical role (internships or part-time roles are a plus).Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus but not required
