IT Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and applications
- Assist with user account setup and access permissions
- Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Investigate complex issues and escalate to senior IT staff as needed
- Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Help maintain network security and data backups
IT Specialist Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or 2+ years of equivalent experience)
- Understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server and MacOS operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, VMWare, and basic networking concepts including Wi-Fi and Cellular technologies
- Experience with Backup solutions including Veeam and Azure
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with both IT staff and end users
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move and lift equipment up to 50lb as needed
