As a Billing Analyst, you’ll have the chance to play a vital role in the smooth operation of a prestigious global law firm. You’ll manage the monthly billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and attorney preferences. This is a high-impact role where you will directly contribute to the firm’s financial success, working closely with internal teams and clients to resolve billing issues, track deadlines, and provide key reports. This role is budgeted between $72,000 and $92,000 and is in the office 3x a week.
Billing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly billing process, including distributing prebills, resolving revisions, and finalizing invoices based on client and attorney preferences.
- Send client invoices via mail, email, or electronically.
- Address billing questions from attorneys, clients, and staff regarding accounts and reconciliations.
- Use reporting tools to respond to internal and external client requests.
- Keep records of client procedures, deadlines, and preferences for consistency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client guidelines.
- Assist leadership with ad-hoc requests and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
Billing Analyst Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree, provided the experience aligns closely with the job responsibilities.
- A minimum of two years of billing or related experience is required.
- Previous experience in a professional services or law firm environment is highly desirable.
