LaSalle Network is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Processing Manager to oversee our loan processing operations for personal lending. The ideal candidate will lead a team of loan processors, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of loan processing, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance, along with leadership skills to drive team performance.

Loan Processing Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end loan processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of applications
  • Review loan applications to ensure all necessary documentation is provided and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to resolve any issues related to loan applications and approvals
  • Monitor loan pipeline and ensure deadlines are met for funding and disbursement
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company lending regulations (e.g., TILA, Fair Lending, ECOA)
  • Conduct regular audits and quality control reviews to maintain accuracy and mitigate risk
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve compliance and reduce loan processing errors
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of loan processors to meet performance goals
  • Provide training on loan policies, software systems, and customer service best practices
  • Monitor team productivity and implement improvements to optimize efficiency
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex loan processing issues
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with applicants regarding their loan status and required documentation
  • Work with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Utilize loan origination software (LOS) to track and process applications
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows
  • Maintain detailed records and generate reports for management review

Loan Processing Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • MUST HAVE 5+ years of near prime/sub prime loan processing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of personal lending products, loan origination systems, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with loan origination software (e.g., Encompass, LendingPad, Finastra) and Microsoft Office Suite
