Our client, an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the northwest Philadelphia area, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their facility. They are a leading distribution company with a passion for efficiency, accuracy and on-time deliveries. The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate shipments, track orders and communicate with vendors and drivers.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Work closely with carriers, suppliers and partners to ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective shipments
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing products to ensure our client is always stocked and ready
- Prepare, review and process shipping documents with precision. A misplaced comma can be costly — you’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen!
- From tracking down a shipment to resolving a scheduling conflict, you’re the problem-solver when things get tricky
- Work closely with warehouse staff, sales teams and management to ensure everyone’s in the loop and on track
Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, transportation or logistics supervisory role
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Experience with a TMS system is preferred
