We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our client’s team on a contract-basis. They are an expert in the legal services industry. The ideal candidate will come from a strong writing and design background with experience developing and executing strategic communication plans.
This is a hybrid role (2-3 days) in the City of Chicago. Open-ended contract!
Marketing Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Write the marketing content and create the graphics for attorney bios, pitch decks brochures, blogs, promotional content and external communications
- Tailor content to align with the firm's voice and the specific needs of legal services audience
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership articles, white papers and case studies
Marketing Communications Specialist Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing communications within the legal services or financial industry required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio and/or samples to share
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud required
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of legal industry trends and regulations is a plus
