Our client is a leading law firm specialized in the financial sector. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Proposal Specialist to join their Marketing Department on a contract basis. This role is critical in supporting business development efforts, focusing on managing the proposal development process and creating marketing content that aligns with brand strategy.
This is a contract position and will have remote flexibility to those not located in Illinois. If you are in Illinois, this is a hybrid role.
Marketing Proposal Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and submission of RFPs with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate and consistent proposal content
- Ensure proposal content adheres to RFP guidelines and effectively represents the firm's capabilities
- Develop and update marketing materials, including attorney bios and practice descriptions, in line with the firm's brand and strategy
- Adapt and format content for pitches, presentations, brochures and other marketing channels according to firm templates
Marketing Proposal Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications and/or related field
- Proven experience in proposal writing and familiarity with proposal best practices within the professional services industry
- Financial Writing experience is required with samples to share
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to draw conclusions from data, perform fact-checking, assess implications and make recommendations
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (InDesign proficiency is a plus)
