This is a high-impact role for someone who’s organized, persistent, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You’ll dig into claim details, fix denials, and communicate clearly with both payers and patients to get accounts resolved and revenue in the door.
Medical Biller/Collector Responsibilities:

Submit clean, timely claims to insurance payers

Follow up on unpaid claims with insurance reps and patients

Resolve billing errors and claim rejections quickly

Reconcile payments, adjustments, and EOBs in the billing system

Set up and monitor payment plans for patients

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Medical Biller/Collector Requirements:

1+ year of experience in medical billing, collections, or related healthcare field

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

Professional phone etiquette and clear communication style

Must be open to a fully onsite schedule—this team thrives on collaboration

Proficiency in billing software and insurance portals a bonus
