LaSalle Network has partnered with a financial services company in the Irving, TX area. They are seeking an Outbound Collection Agent to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, or equivalent, and experience in collections, customer service or a related field. The Outbound Collection Agent will also be responsible for communicating delinquent accounts with customers.
Outbound Collection Agent Responsibilities:
- Contact customers with delinquent accounts through various channels, including phone calls, emails and letters
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers based on their financial situation and ability to pay, while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Educate customers on the importance of timely payments and the consequences of non-payment, providing clear and accurate information on account balances, fees and penalties
- Conduct 200 outbound phone calls
- Follow up with customers to ensure compliance with payment arrangements and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise
Outbound Collection Agent Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, finance or related field preferred
- Previous experience in collections, customer service or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
