Plant Process/Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering theory to real-world applications, focusing on pneumatics, gears, cams, and mechanical linkages
- Manage projects across sites, including machine installations, material qualifications, cost reduction, and equipment modifications
- Analyze data, conduct light design work with CAD/3D models, and ensure designs are approved
- Engage with production teams to meet project goals and ensure smooth execution
- Travel 50% (domestic and international) to facilities, customer, and vendor locations
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors for effective collaboration
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous efficiency
Plant Process/Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing
- Expertise in pneumatics, gears, cams, and mechanical linkages is a plus
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and vendors
- Proficient in data analysis, CAD, and 3D modeling
- Self-starter who actively seeks continuous improvement opportunities
- Flexible for domestic and international travel
