Our client is seeking a Practice Manager to support one of their top performing departments and will play a key role in driving strategic and operational initiatives, supporting attorney productivity, and partnering with firm leadership to ensure effective business management across legal departments.
Practice Manager Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor and operational partner to department heads and practice group leaders
- Oversee workflow coordination, staffing support, and attorney utilization efforts
- Lead business planning, knowledge management, and intranet content development
- Collaborate across departments including Marketing, Recruiting, HR, Finance, and IT
- Analyze and report on financial performance, budgets, and productivity metrics
- Implement process improvements and support firm-wide initiatives at the practice group level
Practice Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or MBA preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong communication, project management, and data analysis skills
- Excel proficiency and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Highly collaborative with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
