Procurement Analyst Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Steel Manager at HQ
- Supporting company objectives as relevant to the role of a Procurement Analyst
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor agreements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of goods and services
Procurement Analyst Requirements:
- 2+ years in a professional procurement environment with a solid understanding of steel
- Market research and analysis for cost assessments, risk management, and market insights
- Resourcefulness in seeking out information for decision-making
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications – Excel (VLookUps / Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint; Oracle experience is a plus
