Program Analyst Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in alignment with business goals and security requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation, with a focus on security controls
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks and establish project priorities
- Identify, assess and manage risks related to security, privacy and data protection within projects
- Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues
- Implement contingency plans and security incident response procedures as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related security concerns
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, security status and potential risks
- Facilitate communication between security teams and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools and expertise to meet security requirements
- Collaborate with HR and security teams to ensure that team members receive the necessary training on security best practices
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, security and compliance
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement in security practices and project management processes
Program Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on security-related projects
- Proven track record of managing projects involving security, compliance and risk management
- PMP certification or Security certification required
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on security risk assessment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
