As a Program Analyst with a focus on security, you will be responsible for planning, executing and closing projects while ensuring that all security requirements are met. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance and business stakeholders, to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Program Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in alignment with business goals and security requirements
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation, with a focus on security controls
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks and establish project priorities
  • Identify, assess and manage risks related to security, privacy and data protection within projects
  • Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues
  • Implement contingency plans and security incident response procedures as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related security concerns
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, security status and potential risks
  • Facilitate communication between security teams and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools and expertise to meet security requirements
  • Collaborate with HR and security teams to ensure that team members receive the necessary training on security best practices
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, security and compliance
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement in security practices and project management processes

Program Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on security-related projects
  • Proven track record of managing projects involving security, compliance and risk management
  • PMP certification or Security certification required
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on security risk assessment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
