Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects of ePPM tools, including planning, execution and post-implementation support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions and ensure the tool integrates seamlessly with other business systems
- Manage project scope, budget and timeline, ensuring adherence to project goals and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, providing regular updates and addressing potential challenges proactively
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, risk assessments and status reports
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and efficiency of the ePPM tool
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives post-implementation to enhance tool functionality and user experience
Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years in project management with specific focus on ePPM tool implementations
- Hands-on experience implementing at least one major ePPM tool such as Planview, Planisware, Sopheon Accolade or SAP ePPM. Familiarity with competing solutions is also acceptable
- Understanding of product lifecycle management and commercialization processes. Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) is highly preferred
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and adhere to deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, will last for at least one year, and the hourly rate is $60-75/hr.
