Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant leader to support teams and individuals in adopting Agile practices, focusing on Scrum principles while facilitating key Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprints, retrospectives, etc.)
- Support teams in identifying and removing roadblocks, guiding them towards continuous improvement, and ensuring high performance
- Work closely with Product Owners, other Scrum Masters, and key stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and remove obstacles that impede progress
- Help formalize Agile processes and refine our methodology, based on SAFe, Kanban, and other best practices that suit the team's needs
- Contribute to the ongoing development of MAG's Agile Center of Excellence by sharing insights and knowledge, while ensuring Agile processes are being followed across teams
- Facilitate clear communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned on deliverables and goals
- Promote an Agile mindset by fostering a culture of transparency, self-organization, and continuous improvement in team dynamics and delivery processes
Scrum Master Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ideally in a SAFe or Kanban environment
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, principles, and Scrum practices
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing Agile methodologies with the evolving needs of the business
- Experience working with supply chain teams, or a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and terminology
- Familiarity with data, business intelligence (BI), or database concepts. Prior experience working with DBAs or teams involved in database and data solutions is a plus
- Exposure or knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence (MS BI) tools and the transition from traditional BI platforms
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset for troubleshooting and removing impediments
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams, especially those involving data-related roles (DBAs, data analysts)
- Familiarity with transitioning from traditional waterfall models to Agile methodologies in a large organization
- Knowledge of SAFe frameworks, Lean, and other Agile scaling methods is a plus
