SEC Analyst Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of SEC regulations and filings to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S-1
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements
- Provide support to senior management on various SEC-related matters, including disclosure controls and procedures, internal audits and investor relations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
SEC Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Experience working in a publicly traded company, with a strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements
- CPA certification is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
