Sr. Audio Visual Engineer Responsibilities:
- Maintain database including documentation for all hardware, software, manufacturer technical support and current resale vendors
- Manage A/V systems integration with network components (wired and wireless) and collaboration systems (Webex, WebEx Teams, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Responsible for all modification to in-room control systems and components within the rooms
- Implement audio and video configuration and equipment for conference rooms as designed
- Perform regularly scheduled operational and preventive maintenance checks for all Audio-Visual systems and conference rooms. Perform upgrades and repair of all Audio/Visual/Control systems and provide technical support and training on A/V topics to customers as needed
- Assist with recommendations of electronic systems improvements and enhancements for audio visual systems as well as troubleshoot and install Audio and Videoconferencing systems
- Interface with manufacturers, developers, engineers, and project managers to provide resolutions for basic conferencing systems and to provide support and maintenance of audio-visual equipment. Participate in vendor meetings and their support team, for incident resolution and education of technology services being offered
Sr. Audio Visual Engineer Requirements:
- 7+ years AV experience implementing and maintaining best in class AV solutions for Enterprise Operations is required.
- Strong presentation, leadership, documentation, customer service skills, organizational skills, and project management experience
- Ability to provide and teach excellent white glove service, create training curriculum and supporting documentation
- Ability to understand blueprints and audio/video flow diagrams
- Must know the ins and outs of basic installation inclusive of pulling and terminating CAT 5/6 cable, soldering, installing LEDs, projectors, and microphones
- Network and AV is experience is required!
- Cisco, Logitech and Poly experience are required
- Troubleshooting experience
- Must have experience with KPI and Metrics
