LaSalle Network is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in managing an hourly workforce, ideally with direct experience in the staffing industry. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, enhancing employee relations and managing various HR functions to support our growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow quickly in responsibilities and title.  

Senior Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities: 

  • Administer benefits, including change reporting, training and communication to employees
  • Manage onboarding processes for new field employees, ensuring compliance and benefits administration
  • Provide guidance to ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations
  • Process unemployment claims and oversee workers’ compensation programs
  • Investigate employee relations issues, including grievances, harassment allegations and discrimination claims, and recommend appropriate actions
  • Assist with background checks in accordance with FCRA guidelines
  • Support annual open enrollment process
  • Conduct weekly and daily compliance reporting (I-9s, background checks, etc.)
  • Implement and oversee various human resources programs and procedures for all employees
  • Support corporate events and meetings
  • Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned

Senior Human Resources Generalist Requirements: 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and high energy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Desire to succeed in a team-oriented culture
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university highly preferred
  • 3+ years of generalist experience with a large hourly workforce
  • 2+ years of staffing industry experience with a solid track record preferred
  • Knowledge of Title VII, ACA and benefits administration for both field and internal employees 
  • Experience in employee relations, workers’ compensation and conducting investigations
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS (Paylocity or Bullhorn experience preferred) 
  • Proven experience implementing policies and processes
