As part of our growth strategy, we're seeking a Senior Manager, Learning and Development to lead and revitalize our L&D function. This role offers the opportunity to build a program from the ground up and establish gold standards for our training programs and make a lasting impact as one of Chicago's top talent acquisition firms.

Senior Manager, Learning and Development Responsibilities:
  • Lead and enhance onboarding programs to ensure a seamless, consistent experience for new hires across all departments
  • Manage a team of 2–4 direct reports, providing mentorship and accountability for high-impact outcomes
  • Set a gold standard for sales and recruitment onboarding training programs by ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practice
  • Design and implement a talent management program, including talent assessments and succession planning initiative
  • Develop lesson plans, training materials and comprehensive learning curriculums from scratch, tailored to various employee levels
  • Oversee the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with learning objectives
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of HR to define short and long-term strategic goals for the L&D department
  • Develop and deliver data-driven reports to leadership that demonstrate the ROI of learning programs
  • Serve as an example of exceptional coaching, applying industry-leading learning frameworks to drive individual and team growth
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver continuous training and development, supporting both employee and organizational success

Senior Manager, Learning and Development Requirements:
  • 4+ years of prior experience in L&D, training facilitation or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing talent and performance management programs
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred fields: Human Resources, Organizational Development or related disciplines)
  • A genuine passion for unlocking individual and organizational potential
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage large groups with energy, confidence and enthusiasm
