Senior Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for 3,000+ employees across multiple states using ADP software
- Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including regular wages, bonuses, commissions, garnishments and benefits deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries
- Handle year-end processing, including W-2s, 1099s and annual reconciliations
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
- Conduct audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management
- Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
Senior Payroll Analyst Requirements:
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years handling multi-state payroll
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar ADP platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws
- Experience with high-volume payroll processing (3,000+ employees)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Expert level ADP software knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
