Senior Quality Supervisor-Food Responsibilities:
- Ensure factory sanitation programs are properly implemented, validated, and maintained for a clean and safe manufacturing environment
- Oversee Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), including cross-contact and allergen controls
- Manage and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards at all government levels
- Own allergen control programs, including validation and compliance across operations
- Lead factory food safety and HACCP teams; identify hazards, define controls, and support verification activities
- Conduct food safety risk assessments and support product or plant event investigations through root cause analysis
- Manage the facility’s pest control program in collaboration with third-party vendors
- Ensure pest management activities are documented, effective, and aligned with food safety requirements
- Coordinate hygiene and food safety training for employees and contractors across sanitation, GMP, allergen control, pest management and hygienic engineering
- Promote ongoing awareness through coaching, audits, and communication meetings
- Lead internal audit programs and prepare for external audits and certifications (e.g., GFSI-recognized schemes)
- Drive continuous improvement through audit findings and strategic action plans
- Support certification program management and ensure conformance with evolving food safety standards
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to influence hygienic design for new and existing processes
- Collaborate with quality teams on product innovation and ingredient change assessments
- Serve as a backup to the Food Safety & Quality Manager and provide strategic support for long-term planning
Senior Quality Supervisor-Food Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Sanitation, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation or food safety leadership roles
- Solid understanding of HACCP, FSMA, GMPs, SSOP development, and sanitation best practices
- Experience with third-party audits and certifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and training skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred: Professional sanitation, pest control, or audit certifications
