As the primary owner of assigned products, you will serve as a product evangelist, collaborating closely with stakeholders across engineering, sales, and design to drive adoption and success. The ideal candidate brings an innovative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to shape high-impact software solutions. This position is Remote, but Candidate must be local to Nashville, TN.
Senior Software Product Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage one or more software products, aligning development efforts with corporate goals.
- Define and execute the product vision, key performance indicators (KPIs), and development roadmap.
- Take full ownership of assigned products, becoming a subject matter expert and championing their success.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, ensuring product alignment with stakeholder objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to create detailed user personas that inform product decisions.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, analyze findings, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Translate business and customer requirements into well-defined product features.
- Craft user stories and collaborate with UX designers to develop intuitive workflows and prototypes.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely product delivery.
- Monitor key metrics to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitive developments.
Senior Software Product Manager Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience as a Software Product Manager, managing software applications.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and advocate for an exceptional user experience.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience managing highly technical enterprise software products from ideation to scale.
- Background in the solar energy sector is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with solar project design and monitoring applications is preferred.
- Experience working with utility-scale solar solutions is a plus.
