Senior Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
- Daily administration of Azure
- Creating and supporting Azure Virtual Servers/Workstations
- Managing Microsoft Service Fabric and Service Bus
- Intune application deployment
- Monitoring Defender logs and Security score
- Microsoft 365 Administration (OneDrive, Teams, Exchange)
- Using PowerShell to automate administrative tasks
- Atlassian Service Administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence)
- Source control management (Git / Azure DevOps)
- Azure virtual networking design
- Monitoring Security concerns
- Collaborating with other departments
- Documenting designs and deployments
Senior Systems Engineer Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior System Engineer or equivalent IT role
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience as an Azure administrator
- Proficient in PowerShell and Azure-DevOps
- Knowledge of Azure Entra, Intune and OneDrive
- Virtual and Physical Network administration experience
- Active Directory, Group Policy and AADDS experience
- Atlassian Service Administration
- Familiarity with Server Automation
- Strong documentation skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
