Senior Tax Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file state tax returns across all 50 states
- Manage sales and use tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end tax provision work
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Handle federal and state tax extension calculations and filings
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulatory changes impacting the business
- Work closely with internal finance teams and external auditors as needed
Senior Tax Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
- Strong knowledge of state and federal tax regulations
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
