LaSalle Network has partnered with an outstanding Packaging Supplier in Chicago, IL. This company supplies billions of containers and closures annually as well as warehousing and logistics services. They are seeking a Senior Tax Manager for their office! This position is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule.
Senior Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the annual U.S. income tax return process, global tax compliance and North American sales/use tax, ensuring timely and accurate filing with minimal fees and risks
- Partner with external tax preparers and local Finance teams to optimize tax quality, reporting and compliance efforts
- Design enhanced tax processes, streamline procedures and assist in developing internal controls to meet compliance requirements and improve efficiency
- Guide Tax Analysts, manage audits, support M&A tax integration and uphold company values while fostering a positive organizational culture
Senior Tax Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. CPA and/or Master’s in Tax preferred
- 10+ years in corporate tax is required
- Looking for some to grow into their career. Experience as Sr. Tax Accountant, Heavy Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager a plus
- US federal, ASC 740 tax provisions and international experience is preferred
- Federal tax, State Tax, International, sales/use, personal property, tax provisions and M&A required
- Management experience desired
