They are currently seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support their transportation account in the greater Washington, DC area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-quality delivery, customer relationship management, recruitment and supporting proposal development. Strong existing relationships with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clients, excellent personnel management skills and effective communication abilities are crucial for this role. This position is full time and hybrid in Arlington, VA.

Senior Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships within the transportation sector, acting as a technical leader to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide consulting services to DOT and FAA clients in key service areas like Software Development, Cloud, DevOps, SaaS/PaaS (e.g., Salesforce), Agile Transformation, Digital Modernization and Cybersecurity
  • Lead high-quality delivery, customer relationship management, recruitment efforts and proposal development
  • Support customer delivery and technical solution development for DOT/FAA accounts
  • Utilize knowledge of government IT contracting, acquisition trends and federal customer purchasing behaviors
  • Lead proposal development activities, including color reviews, win themes, value propositions and proposal integration
  • Manage multiple capture actions for IT opportunities across transportation customers, capabilities and locations

Senior Technical Project Manager Requirements:
  • 10+ years of successful experience in managing and delivering complex technical programs or projects to federal customers on time and within budget
  • 3+ years of Salesforce implementation experience within the Federal Government market
  • Proficiency in gathering and understanding customer requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Deep customer relationships within the transportation market, particularly DOT and FAA
  • Experience in managing technical and business consultant teams, recruiting exceptional technical talent and domain technical expertise in relevant fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or a related field
