As a Sr. Manager Regional Services Delivery with a focus on Infrastructure and Operations Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery and performance of our client’s IT infrastructure services. You will lead a team of engineers, manage service delivery processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure infrastructure meets high standards of reliability and efficiency.
Sr. Manager Regional Services Delivery Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of infrastructure and operations services to ensure they meet established service levels and performance targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure and operations engineers. Foster a collaborative environment, provide performance feedback, and support professional development.
- Address critical incidents and service disruptions promptly. Implement root cause analysis and corrective measures to prevent future issues.
- Oversee infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Communicate effectively to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and implement strategies to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Ensure that infrastructure solutions adhere to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain robust security practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure setups, processes, and service delivery metrics. Provide regular updates and reports to management on service performance and project status.
Sr. Manager Regional Services Delivery Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and operations engineering, with 2+ years in a managerial role focused on service delivery
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking and cloud technologies. Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for service management is beneficial
- Proven track record in managing IT projects and leading cross-functional teams. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to address complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a successful history of motivating and managing teams to achieve high performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
- This position requires being onsite in our client’s Oak Brook office 5 days a week
