This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in office and is budgeted up to a base of $70,000 with additional annual bonus.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage charge back accruals and ensure accurate accounting treatment
- Process purchase orders (POs) and maintain comprehensive records
- Track invoices regularly, ensuring timely payments and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and analysis as required
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Staff Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 0-3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in Schaumburg, IL office at least 3 days per week
- Proven experience with charge back accruals, PO management and invoice tracking
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
