LaSalle Network is sourcing for a leading organization to identify a skilled and proactive Supply Planner. This role is responsible for coordinating the production and procurement of finished goods to optimize supply chain operations across a complex network. The Supply Planner will balance plant efficiency, sales, distribution and inventory requirements to ensure smooth supply chain performance. This position requires a strong background in supply chain management, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in a matrixed and geographically diverse organization.

Supply Planner Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production and procurement of finished goods, ensuring alignment with plant efficiency, sales and customer service goals
  • Formulate and communicate short- to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply and demand
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including plant management, to report on sales, production and inventory performance
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks, including low inventory cover and escalate issues as needed
  • Utilize scenario planning and RapidResponse tools to resolve supply risks and improve decision-making
  • Accountable for achieving inventory targets and reconciling code-level inventory to meet business needs
  • Maintain accurate product code data and statistics in systems such as JDE
  • Support financial planning and forecasting processes through supply chain insights
  • Partner with demand planners, plant schedulers, distribution teams and manufacturing operations to address supply risks and issues
  • Ensure alignment across departments to meet operational and business objectives

Supply Planner Requirements:
  • Fluent in English with 3+ years of experience in a supply chain role of similar scale
  • Proficiency in technical planning systems such as RapidResponse or similar tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing, communication, negotiation and conflict management, especially within a geographically diverse, matrix organization
  • APICS certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Experience with demand planning and sales and operations planning is beneficial
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management
  • Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
