The Title Closing Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the final steps of a real estate transaction, ensuring all documents and requirements are in place for the successful closing of the sale.
Title Closing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manages closings from beginning to end
- Conducts closings at ATG and agent offices accurately and professionally
- Verifies accuracy of all closing documents, ensures documents are properly executed and ensures proper checks are disbursed and distributed to appropriate party
- Collaborate with Title Production Department and title agent to resolve title issues
- Mails, e-mails, faxes and overnights documents and checks to title agent and customers
- Prepares documents for recording and electronically records documents where appropriate
- Coordinates mail away closings between ATG, the parties to the transaction and outside notaries
- Accommodate split closing requests and assist with the seller side closing
- Acts as liaison between lenders, agents and other ATG staff
Title Closing Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3+ years of title closing experience required
- In-depth knowledge of Closing Disclosures and other closing documents
- Notary Public required
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
