Chicago, Ill., November 1, 2013 – This year, LaSalle Network, Chicago’s premier provider of professional staffing and recruiting services, is celebrating Movember, a global initiative to support prostate cancer research.
In honor of Movember, all of LaSalle Network’s male employees will be growing mustaches (“La-Staches”) to raise awareness and support for prostate cancer.
In addition, for every client who grows a mustache through the end of November, LaSalle will donate $50 to prostate cancer research, as well as match any outside donation made, with the ultimate goal to raise $15,000. All donations can be made to LaSalle Network’s Movember page.
“This is a cause that many are affected by in one way or another,” said Tom Gimbel, president and CEO of LaSalle Network. “We are excited to get involved and help raise awareness.”
Over the years, LaSalle Network has supported numerous causes, including breast cancer research, Alzheimer’s research and the Starlight Children’s Foundation, among others. Gimbel sees philanthropy and corporate giving as a key part of his business that he will continue to be involved in throughout his life and career.
